The members of Pointe-Claire Rescue are trained as First Responders, some of our members are also certified by the Surete de Quebec in Search and Rescue. Everyone undergoes months of training and discipline before becoming a full member. Extensive training is given in the areas of Pumps, Chainsaws, Generators, First-Aid, Air Bags, High Level Rescue, Cold Water Rescue, and Automobile Extrication . We don't know what we will be called out for, or when, so we have to be trained for any emergency that may come up.
